ABOUT SEQW
Founded in 2014, Seattle Expo Quinceanera & Weddings (SEQW) started with an ambitious goal of creating a space where businesses in the event industry could connect with Latino communities seeking services for Quinceañeras.
Our first expo became a groundbreaking cultural moment and has ever evolved since. In 2017, we decided to incorporate “Weddings” into our name as it would include a greater range of opportunities.

Our mission is to expand business opportunities, connect communities, and sustain an inclusive culture.

Our vision is to create a space where Latin culture is celebrated through business and community.
What is a Quinceanera?
A quinceanera celebrates a young girl's new milestone into adulthood similar to a “Sweet 16”, a “Debu”, or a “Bat mitzvah”. This celebration is rooted in Latin culture originating from Aztec and Mayan traditions that have now turned into a mixture of cultures from Europeans including religion.
Quinceaneras are celebrated differently depending on the location and era one might live in. One thing for sure about these quinces is that they're a big celebration. Not always in a financial way, but it's a very meaningful event.

Collect business cards and be ready to ask questions. Because each event and budget are different, rough estimate for certain services may be given but always follow-up after the event or visit them for a personalized/ formal estimate.
